Bend it like an iPhone 6 Plus

Okay, that's a potential problem. Users of the new iPhone 6 Plus complain that their phone actually bends in their trouser pockets. The cause seems to be the size of the phone versus the very thin metal housing. The problem is, the bend stays as the phone is not returning to its original shape.

Samsung phones have a similar issue with their bigger models, but these bend back nicely and return to their original shape. At many forums photos now have appeared of iPhone 6 Plus users showing this issue. Despite the phone being bend, they do still work. but for a 600 EURO device ... you expect a little more QA here. Whenever you have the device in your pocket, don't sit down and put pressure on it okay?

Okay, allow me one lame pun; so depending on how you look at it, you could be happy or frown upon the fact that you actually have a curved iPhone. In the video below, somebody puts the iPhone 6 Plus through a forced bend session. I think the video is a little more brutal then the guys needs to be though. The bend test is done completely by hand, but as he points out, a bit of bending had happened to his iPhone 6 Plus prior to the force test. There was a slight indent near the center just below the volume buttons, which he thinks may be the device’s weakest point.
