Be quiet! Announces New Straight Power 11 Power Supply Series

Be quiet! Announces New Straight Power 11 Power Supply Series

Be quiet! will be releasing a new Straight Power 11 power supply, these units are segmented as high-end and as always, very silent. The Straight Power 11 Series will be more efficient as the inside of the PSU does not use any wires anymore. They receive a Gold 80plus certification.

A side effect of stripping away cables is not just better efficiency, also better cooling which in the end needs less fan RPM which is, more silent. The new models are designed by BeQuiet and fabbed by FSP. You'll spot high-quality Nichicon and Chemi-Con capacitors.

  • Wire-free design on the DC side. No wires result in better cooling because no cables can obstruct the airflow. Better cooling increases longevity. The connections between components are also shorter, which means less signal disturbances. No induction from cables also increases signal quality.
  • Upgraded topology: Now with LLC + SR + DC/DC for improved stability
  • Silent through proven 135mm SilentWings 3 fan
  • All capacitors are 105°C rated Japanese caps
  • Only with full cable management
  • 80PLUS Gold rating with up to 93% efficiency
  • Now in 450W, 550W, 650W, 750W, 850W and 1,000W
  • Integration of all possible protection circuits (OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, OTP and SCP)
  • 5 years warranty
  • Launch: January 16, 2018
The fan used is a 135 mm SilentWings 3, a fluid dynamic bearing model.  The new Straight Power 11 Line has six products and energy capacities starting at 450W running up-to 1kW. The prices in Europe (including VAT) start from 93€ for the lowest capacity member and go up to 185€ for the strongest model, all carry a 5-year warranty.
