AMD announced it will release the 7th gen Bristol Ridge-apu's during Computex. The new processor will be up-to 23% faster opposed to the predecessor, The products will make a debut  in their HP Envy x360

Bristol Ridge, much like Carizzo APUs use Excavator cores and will appear in dual- and quad-core solutions with support for DDR4 memory. Precise details have not been shared but according to speculation, these are still 28nm based fabbed APUs. AMD did share some benchmark results of a Bristol Ridge FX  and an A12 processor with 3Dmark 11, Cinebench and PCMark 8. Combined with 8GB 1866 MHz DDR4 memory. The results are close towards the Core i5 5200U processor from Intel. 
  

 
AMD today announced early availability of its new mobile 7th Generation AMD A-Series Processors, timed to support an exciting new notebook design by HP Inc. Now shipping in volume to OEM customers are both quad- and dual-core 7th Gen AMD A-Series processors, featuring mobile-optimized "Excavator" x86 CPU cores for high-speed computing, and Radeon™ R7 or R5 graphics for smooth online gaming and enhanced HD streaming capabilities. When compared to the "Kaveri" based AMD FX™ mobile processor at the same power, new 7th Gen FX processors deliver up to 40% more single-threaded CPU performance . 

The 7th Gen AMD A-Series APUs will allow users to enjoy the latest multimedia experiences in up to Ultra HD 4K video resolution, and AMD FreeSync™ Technology support for fluid, artifact-free on-line gaming performance in capable notebook and All-in-One configurations.
