Acer released the 1299 USD Acer XR382CQK. This 38-inch monitor has a native 3440 x 1600 resolution at 75 Hz (FreeSync compatible) and this is a Ultrawide Curved Monitor, also referred to as UW-QHD.

The IPS panel has a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 2300R curvature. The monitor's has a 75Hz refresh rate and 5-ms response time. There’s also support for AMD’s FreeSync technology, which reduces tearing and generally makes life better for gamers. There’s also a proprietary picture-in-picture mode that lets you display two inputs simultaneously, so you could theoretically use this as a TV and a PC monitor at the same time. It’s certainly big enough.

The monitor has a ZeroFrame design that minimizes bezels and the IPS display supports 172-degree horizontal and 178-degree vertical viewing angles, and a 100 percent sRGB color gamut. The XR382CQK enables tilt from minus-5 degrees to 35 degrees, swivel plus or minus 30 degrees, and adjust the height by up to 5.11 inches. Two 7-watt speakers utilize DTS sound technology for enhanced gaming audio, and the displays offer blue light filtering, ComfyView, and low-dimming

Connectivity is provided by HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and USB Type-C (Gen1) with up to 5Gbps data transfer, while a USB 3.0 hub with four ports provides for additional connectivity options. 

A nice looking monitor, however I am not sure how the 1299 USD price can be justified.
