Acer XB271HK and XB271HU G-sync Predator XB1 Series monitors

We have been talking about these monitors for a while now, things are getting more formal now though as Acer will release two 27"-monitors in the Predator-series this month. One is at WHQD 1440P 27" at 144Hz, the other at Ultra HD at 60Hz. Both screens have an IPS panel.



While these monitors have been announced already Acer now has relesaed the launch time frame. The Predator XB271HU will get an ips-panel at 2560x1440 pixels / 144Hz. Word is that the panel can be overclocked to 165Hz. Acer states a 4ms response time and a brightness of 350cd/m².

De Predator XB271HK is a 4k-monitor / 60Hz-panel at 3840x2160 pixels that can deal with the complete srgb-spectrum Maximum brightness is 300cd/m², with 4ms response time.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) is $799 for the Predator XB271HU and $899 for the Predator XB271HK.

The 27-inch Acer Predator XB271HK touts spectacular picture quality with a 4K UHD (3840x2160@60Hz) panel boasting 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1.07 billion colors. This stunning monitor also provides a high 100 percent sRGB color accuracy and reproduction.

Rendering fast-moving actions and dramatic transitions without smearing or ghosting, the Acer Predator XB271HK’s IPS display offers a quick 4ms response. It also provides wide viewing angles with accurate colors up to 178 degrees horizontally and vertically.

GameView In-Game Advantage
The new Predator gaming monitors feature GameView technology, which allows gamers to swiftly toggle between three customizable display profiles to tweak settings in-game without the need to navigate through an OSD menu, a significant advantage when every second counts. Special settings include dark boost (black level adjustment) to ensure gamers can best see every threat, aim-point assistance to help get a jump on opponents and perfect the shot as well as the ability to select the on-screen refresh rate.

Comfortable Ergonomics
Featuring Acer Eye Protect Technology, the new monitors are outfitted with flicker-less, blue-light filter, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to help safeguard the eyes from blue light emissions and decrease eye fatigue during long gaming sessions.

An ergonomically-designed stand provides tilt from -5 to 35 degrees, swivel from +/- 30 degrees, pivot and height adjustment up to 5.9 inches, enabling customers to find the most optimum viewing position. A quick release design easily disconnects the display from the stand for VESA wall mounting.

They also offer excellent connectivity with HDMI, DisplayPort v1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub (1 up/4 down) as well as dynamic audio with two 2W stereo speakers.
