AC Ryan plans to release a new Veolo Mediaplayer, this time it is embedded with a DVB-T tuner and recorder. The AC Ryan Veolo DVR will get a dual-core ARM soc. Back in October 2011 AC Ryan already released the Veolo based on Android 2.2.
The Veolo DVR is a continuation of that project. The new product will get part number ACR-PV78100 and is based on Android 4.2. The non specified ARM SoC will be paired with 1 GB memory and 8GB flash storage. There's no word on internal storage with ah HDD. The leaked photos show a black chassis with a LED panel at the front-side. As mentioned the device will get a DVB-T tuner and recorder making the product compatible with SD and HD broadcasts. DVB-T however is not used everywhere.
Target launch date: June 2014
