A
quick comparison between GeForce and Quadro
Quadro is a high end version of the GeForce for 3D graphic designers.
Quadro card works at a higher core frequency than GeForce, and has some
professional graphic features that have been locked on the GeForce.

Yes it CAN be done !
Modifying
that GeForce to a Quadro is no difficult job ! The only thing you need
is a 15 to 30W soldering iron with a very fine tip.
The
resistor('s) that must be modified is (are) located on the back of the
board, usually just under the EPROM chip (the square one that says SST-xxxxxx).
Look
up the table below to find what resistor('s) should be modified,
according to your board manufacturer. Let’s take an example : The
table says : R102->R98; it means you have to remove R102 and solder
it on the empty space labeled R98.
