Hitman - Codename 47

All this graphic and sound information is well and good, but let's get on to what you really want to know, "so how does it play?" As it is now customary you can configure any action to any specific key as well as any mouse button. I prefer the classic WASD keyboard and mouse setup. This give you the most flexibility when wanting to perform complicated movements. Although the game is played from a third-person perspective this first-person configuration works just as well. There are two camera options for you to choose from, both of which can be toggled through while in game. The first camera perspective is a fixed over the shoulder view. In this mode when you move the mouse so does your body, looking from side to side or up and down. Although this mode is good for navigating a level I find the second camera option much more preferable for shooting it out. The second option consists of a camera that is locked at a slightly higher angle than the other. In this mode however you move the cross hair with your mouse independent of your body, moving your body with the keyboard to turn. Although other reviews talked trash about this second mode saying it was useless and should be taken out of the game altogether, I think did not get the point of it. The purpose of this second mode is to be able to run past an enemy shooting at him at a side angle, or any other angle for that matter. This is highly useful when you find yourself surrounded and need to maintain movement. This also allows you to make better use of going in akimbo, that is dual pistols blazing as you run past.
