Giants continued

Each characters level is perfectly tailored to their own personalities. For instance, the meccs take full advantage of their guns and jet packs. You will be using a lot of heavy handed tactics to complete their levels. Delphi, the sea-reaper and the first thing your eyes probably saw when you looked at the box, uses combinations of magic spells, and she uses her own variation on a jet pack. And Kabuto, oh yes, Kabuto. He uses pure brute force to get things done, and at over 60 feet, not much can stop him!

The weapons in the game are fantastic. The meccs get the typical pistol, RPG, machine gun, and the like. An original twist on the old dummy-distraction, is the Bush. When you turn it on, a holographic bush surrounds you, and allows you to sneak by your enemies. It's a ton of fun to use; the enemies get suspicious and poke the bush, then walk away. Delphi uses spells, which are defiantly worth talking about. From the time-slowdown, to the icicle-meteor, to the 400 foot tornado, they are guaranteed to keep you entertained. Kabuto uses his massive body as a weapon. You can stomp enemies, crush them, eat them, punt them (this is great), or even impale them on your own horns for a late-night snack!

Yet another great feature about the game is some RTS genra-blending. As meccs and the sea-reaper, you must build a base, complete with auto-guns, anti-aircraft missiles, mines, towers, and your own scout vehicles. In the game, little alien creatures called Smarties (around which the story revolves) help you build you base to your specifications. However, you must keep these little fellas full of vimp meat, (vimps are poor dumb bastard animals that you get to hunt), or they just may take a nap on the job!
