Download Samsung SSD 840 Firmware - Samsung issued a new firmware for their series 840- and 840 Pro SSDs. The firmware is delivered in a 1 MB sized download.
You will also need Samsungs Samsung Magician-software to be able to install the firmware in Windows. There are separate download available for the different type's of this SSD. Hence the download link points to the samsung download pages.
This update addresses the following issues:
- Improved "dirty drive" write performance.
