Black Hole benchmark Download Version V4.1

Download the Black Hole benchmark (pre-release). It tests the pure calculation speed of your cpu in double and integer (floating and integer). The bench has 2 tests, multithreaded and singlethreaded. Multithreaded will take all your threads to its max use, singlethreaded stresses 1 thread 100% You can submit the final score to the database and I'll make scoretables of the scores I receive there.

Why Pre-release?

Trying to make a code to measure the turbo clock of the cpu, not the base clock.
Looking for improvements

Usage

First Close ALL other programs.

Download the app from the download in this thread
Extract the exe
Run the exe and press multithreaded test (the program can be stuck while running, just let it do his job for 1-5 min)
When completed that, run the singlethreaded test (will last 1-4 min)
Then you get the final score, now you can save it in the database --> post your scores --> fill in your username and RIGHT CLOCKSPEED if overclocked. Be honest on this part!
Click send
Look on this thread for scores, I'll try to update every weekend

Other important information

Only for windows from xp and up
You need at least .NET framework 2.1
Only for 64 bit systems
Ram speed and latency can affect the score pretty much
At this moment it supports up to 34 threads, I'll update soon so you can test even systems with 128 threads!

Tried to remove all fuuu cheaters, but Idk if they're all gone...
Some people tested it with all progs on, so their are too low scores for speeds too.
Since AMD is really in disadvantage, I'll release 4.2 soon with auto clockspeed detector + maybe website + better scaling multi and single + 4 threaded test especially for gamers under us.
Thanks for testing all! You helped me getting some idea about this. Now I can improve the bench

Also you know I like your benchmark I said it already, but about the Ranks I believe you should delete them and start from scratch again(Rank wise). I don't trust one bit some scores up there. Now I think about it, I don't trust anyone on that list. Even if it was me on it.

Same here.

I went as far as uninstalling, reinstalling and updating .NET 4.5, but to no avail.

I also wonder why it says v3, when it is supposed to be v4?

Tried this on my 3rd rig, X9650 @3.7ghz, not too shabby for such an old quad:

The benchmark still refuses to run on my AMD FX8120 rig....keep getting an error message similar to Arctucas'...

Don't submit scores on this beta or database will be ****ed up... :S

For those who submit and don't seem to save their scores. I'm making a respons code to know or your score is received in db.

Close programs, do you run any gadgets?
Skype or steam are the most common problems causing this kind of results. That's why I recommend to close all programs, also in background.

That's due to your cpu running at different temps, on the second run it was probably still hot from first.

Temps will not affect the score that much I think.
Ran my cpu in 5.2ghz to 89°c (normally 69°c) and it seems like a normal increase of points...

that is probably not the reason, unless its running so hot as to cause it to throttle
