Download the unofficial AMD Catalyst 13.2 BETA driver

This unofficial AMD Catalyst 13.2 BETA 12.100.0 driver is compatible with AMD Radeon HD 5000, HD 6000 and HD 7000 Series graphics cards. This display driver supports Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8.

With this driver, these products offer support for WDDM 1.2, which is an updated model for graphics drivers that Microsoft has developed to ensure smooth performance and wide compatibility in their new operating system.

This driver requires that you have Microsoft .Net 4 framework installed, not included in this download. Should you need it, you can grab it here.

Thanks to ZealotKi11er over at overclock.net for this driver. We had a bit of doubt wether not to post and host this driver as it is very much in BETA stages. So please understand what you are dealing with. However we figured its better to download these drivers from Guru3D.com (where we test the binaries) then on the multiple dodgy file sharing hosts this driver has been launched on.

This must be the early unfinished 13.2 beta they sent to techpowerup etc.

I'll wait for the finished 13.2 beta that will show up in coming weeks, I'm in no hurry. I'm in fact mostly interested in 13.3/13.4 when they've implemented the rewritten memory management engine.

Only for specific DX9 games. The 'official' 13.2 release version is the one with improved memory management for more general fix on that.

WOW been testing Skyrim and its so so much smoother, still a few spikes here and there but overall its great and smooth.

I'm not new to downloading and installing/uninstalling drivers, but am kinda new to the Cap downloads. I've downloaded and think I've installed the latest Cap 2 thingy, how do I know for sure it's actually installed? Is there some numbers associated with it like drivers have?

All that means is that it hasn't got WHQL. Notice the Catalyst Inf jump from 9.x to 12.100.0?

i know that sendspace can resume, but that is if i stayed on the same ip, but i can't control my ip, because my isp is using a dynamic ip system.

haven't been able to finish the download all day, because of my lame connection.

Edit : bah, no wonder my speed suddenly dropped to below 5KB/s, it seems steam is silently updating its client, anyone know how to stop steam from silently auto updating its client ?

well to me it just meant that its already passed alpha stage, but not yet on beta, because for GPU driver, beta = not yet stamped for WHQL by MS.

because if its dangerous, then they wont dare to release it to the site that reported the latency issue, because it will be like adding fuel to the flame.

so i think the current beta is safe, and WHQL is just a stamp from MS.

For me idle bug is still ongoing with this driver, as well as 13.1. On 12.xx It was ok. :/

why.? if you know how to clean and proper install...these are fully stable and smooth drivers, playing 10 games without profiles...everything seems OK...!!!

Both this version and the 13.1 version still have the bug where CCC is using 13.1% CPU resources.

Same as 12.11b2.

i'm using 12.11b11, and i doesn't have that bug, is the bug fixed on 12.11b11 ?

and its kinda weird if the bug existed, because 13.1 is only 12.11b11 stamped with WHQL.
