Well, just tested the horror that is the Final Fantasy XIII port. Frame drops everywhere, no such thing as a constant 60 FPS here. Even though the game is already locked to 720p resolution with no way to change it, and no graphical options at all. GGWP Square Enix.

What is the practical difference downsampling and DSR? Which one is better?

DSR takes a bigger hit at same reso, guess because of extra smoothing factor.

One day it will be fixed just one day the zooming in effect happen in GSDX for pcsx2 might be fixed. Then again the MSAA+FXAA might get fixed first??

Hell i still pretty sure if you disabled Aero/Desktop composition vsync no long works in any window/windowed fullscreen game even if you force it via ingame setting or use DX override. Atlest it hasnt for quite some time for me.

did you expect anything less from SQ that last 2 FF games to be ported to the PC where FF 7&8 and they were both piss poor ports the audio quality on both where far inferior then the consoles version. and then again both had Resolution option even if they limited to 640x480 8 might of did 800x600 but i cant remember been to long since i booted it up. even then both 7 and 8 look and sounded far better payed threw emulators. seeing you could actual get said emulator to run 1080p.+ it just did no good for textures then again i think the ports used the console textures anyway.

Any FF game that comes to pc is gona me nothing more then cash grab and piss poor port. Not the FF13 was any good resemble what FF game was like from FF-10 everything past that strayed way to much from battle system that made FF FF to me which in turn look the fun out of it.

I will take the bigger hit IF it makes resolutions higher then 1080p make my desktop look less terrible. norm downscaling make my desktop look terrible especially the text, Games look fine though.

So how about some SLi profiles for the big hitting games that released this past year nvidia?

Currently my second GTX 780ti is just a glorified paper weight, an expensive one at that!

If you think Nvidia needs to optimize for every single game out there, they'd need to release a new driver every single day.

How about game developers start to optimize their engines instead?

Does the Nvidia driver 344.11 helps for my GTX 660 card ?
Or, it is " only " for GTX 9.x.x ?

I would think they have a lot of work to catch up on. No one wants a buggy driver duder. You aren't going to magically overcome a large roadblock with a new driver anyway. I'm sure it is coming this week or the next.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is coming in 3 weeks, so I guess they're gonna have to get a driver ready soon... No way are they skipping out on a AAA title like COD.

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel runs pretty well with this driver. All settings maxed out, PhysX on High, and not a single frame drop so far. I love it. Much better optimization than Borderlands 2.

Funny how i was just recently planning on downgrading my computer. Getting rid of 2nd bluray drive, killer nic, some other accessories and, removing 1 690. I just don't need all this GPU power like i planned on using it at the time of purchase. Wanted to mine coins, do more folding, video editing acceleration which is shot due to CUDA changes recently, transcoding and whatever else, so I was thinking of rolling with just 1 690 for one more generation, but, i might get 1 980 or wait for the next batch of releases (Ti, etc) and just roll with a single 4GB GPU.

I've been using multi-GPU since the Radeon 4870X2 and maybe it's time to go back to single-GPU for a while. Less headaches.
Looks like we weren't able to reproduce the bug I filed so it was closed. Reopened the bug.

Good, because there are many like myself who are still waiting for a Ryse SLI profile. The game will remain unplayed until that happens. It would be appreciated if the team could push out a hotfix for it asap. I don't know why people care about games weeks off when already released titles aren't supported properly.

And I should add that Crytek themselves stated that they were working on perfect scaling for multi gpu configurations and we already know that the cryengine scales wonderfully, so I don't understand why this taking as long as it is. can you at least verify that one is coming?

Not sure, but I understood it as follows:
    - Choose override AA / extend AA
    - Enable MFAA from Inspector
    - Enable ingame AA
