Silicon Power 32 GB Solid State Disk review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
8/21/2008
SSD is the future, make no mistake. With Silicon Power's product the dynamics change a bit. A couple of weeks ago they released a new series of drives. We got one fresh from the factory, this is their all new revised version. Optionally they make use of SLC NAND flash based memory. In certain situations this type is not only faster, it's also 10 maybe 20 times more reliable as the number of write cycles (per cell) starts at 100,000 writes.
Corsair 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 DIMM Kit review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
4/15/2008
I'm making a plea to move forward towards 4GB in a PC, and that's mainly due to it's current price. What we'll do today is have a look at a Corsair 4 GB Dual-channel memory kit, two DIMM modules, priced at € 88,00
OCZ Rally 2 Turbo 4GB and 32GB USB Flash review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
4/7/2008
We'll look at two OCZ Rally models today, the 4 GB OCZ Rally 2 Turbo and then the colossal (in volume size) 32 GB version of the Rally 2 (without the Turbo though).
Corsair Flash Voyager 32GB review

These are the sticks that Bruce Willis could carry around while making Die Hard 4.0, they've been laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, and even run over by a SUV in many third party reviews. After all the punishment it receives, these sturdy little freaks continue to work. Now available in a 32GB capacity.
Building your own Solid State Drive (guide)
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
3/13/2008
Before you lay down a grand on the table to purchase an Solid State Drive, why not experiment a little yourself and build your own drive for roughly 75 EUR ? This way you can at the very least test if SDD is something you'd actually like. In this guide we'll do exactly that with Compact Flash (CF) memory.
OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
12/5/2007
OCZ recently released a SLI ready DDR2 800 kit of memory, not that special yet true; they released a 4 GB kit rated PC2-6400 with tense timings. And that is interesting as the larger your RAM modules tend to get storage size, the more latency they'll get, making them slower in response times. Today's tested memory has pretty okay timings at 5-4-4-15 making this the biggest really fast DDR2 memory available.
A-data 2GB DDR2-800 Extreme Edition memory

So, this Adata 2GB 800 MHz DDR2 Vitesta memory tested today is not only dirt cheap to get, it's also really fast with with 4-4-4-12 timings.
OCZ ATV Turbo 4GB memory stick
by Hilbert Hagedoorn

Okay sarcasm aside, we really don't have a real need for water-proof sticks, but OCZ just launched a new memory stick which is exactly that. Now on a rainy day, knowing that your flash-media is secure and protected enough is quite a good thing. Let me quickly explain to you the stuff that really matters though. This is a 4 GB model which comes with a water-proof and shock resistant design. It should be pretty fast bugger of a memory stick though as it's rated at READ speeds ranging in the 33/35 MB/sec and comes with write speeds of 26-30MB/sec.
OCZ Trifecta Micro SD Memory 1GB review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn

The product is fully compliant with both the SD and microSD standard. In addition to that, as stated, it also has a USB-connector which means that you don't need any card reader in order to get data on or off the card. Quite handy if you are on the go and don't have time to mess around with a card reader as it's USB compatible.
OCZ PC2 9200 Reaper DDR2 memory review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
8/8/2007
Here we'll review the PC2 9200 2 GB Dual-Channel Reaper kit from OCZ, with a 1142 MHz clock frequency and some pretty okay timings a very interesting kit to have in your uber-powered and overclocked enthusiast PC.
