Hiper Media Center HTPC HMC-2K53A-A3 review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
4/21/2008
Hiper recently released a new model of their slim-line HTPC barebone chassis, with VFD (display) fully integrated mainboard and PSU. Pretty much you drop a HD, a slice of memory and a processor in this system and you are good to go since the mainboard even has support for multi-channel audio, VGA & HDMI output as it's based on the reputable AMD 690G chipset (mainboard with integrated graphics card). And next to all that, it even comes with a pretty decent remote control.
CoolerMaster Cosmos S review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
2/22/2008
CoolerMaster today introduced a new PC case/chassis updated from their Cosmos line of products. This unit is based on a standard Cosmos 1000 with some attention-grabbing new modifications targeted at the high-end and enthusiast consumer with a diminutive amount of money to spare. It's huge, it's profound, it's impressive, it's striking and it's called the Cosmos S; with the S for Sport.
Zalman HD160XT Plus HTPC Chassis review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
2/19/2008
A PC in your living room however has to look nice, be silent and functional; and that's quite a challenge as today's computer parts are often noisy and create lot's of heat. Building a HTPC surely isn't an easy task as you need to carefully handpick all components used. For optimal cooling and nice looks today we land at the premises of Zalman. They recently released their Zalman HD160XT Plus HTPC chassis. A seriously gorgeous looking HTPC chassis, made out of aluminum and with a small 7" Zero Defect LCD touch screen (no dead pixels).
NZXT Rogue SSF chassis review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
1/27/2008
NZXT released their first SSF chassis under the name Rogue. Quite an interesting name as is has several meanings, in biology however Rogue equals "a usually inferior organism, esp. a plant, varying markedly from the normal". I think it's safe to apply that description to the chassis we are testing today. A chassis that for the bigger part is a aluminum chassis guaranteeing optimal cooling, low noise levels and since it's NZXT .. looks to die for.
SunBeamTech UFO Acrylic Cube Case review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
11/2/2007
Face it, it's short from stunning how many cases there are out there to pick from. So why Acryllic you ask ? Well .. ehm I dunno. it's just looking so damn cool. See if you forget about the fact that kit's the worst material to use as a chassis cooling wise, incredibly "not" handy to work with, scratchable, smears everywhere and oy .. the fingerprints. But all that aside .. if you get the wiring and lighting right, an Acrylic chassis might be one of the coolest things you've ever built.
SunBeamtech Tuniq 3 chassis review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
8/29/2007
Today we'll peek at Sunbeamtech's Tuniq line of products (Tuniq is actually a subsidiary product series of Sunbeamtech). They have the new Tuniq 3 out, an aluminum looking and styled chassis which in our photo lab was one of the hardest things ever to photograph!
Gigabyte Mercury Pro review (water-cooled )
by Hilbert Hagedoorn
7/15/2007
When a team is creative and the will is there to actually produce something which meets the variables for the mainstream market then you can have a small success on your hands, for today's product I believe that's the case. We'll be reviewing their pre-installed PC Chassis with built in water-cooling. With a design that is esthetically pleasing, innovative functions and some really great ideas over the next pages you'll be strolling through the product that is called the 3D Mercury.
Revoltec Zirconium PC chassis review
by Hilbert Hagedoorn

Guru3d will peek at a new casing from the guys at Listan. Who you ask ? Listan .. the guys behind the beQuiet series power supplies and .. Revoltec. This is the second line Listan is promoting aside from their BeQuiet! PSU lineup, is their Revoltec brand. This brand sells coolers, case-mod gear, fans but also cases. This is the new RT-101 Zirconium chassis.
Spire Pininfarina SP-ATX-PALU Chassis
by Hilbert Hagedoorn

So once I was on the Spire website to have a peek at that PSU I noticed that they were about to release another product... a PC chassis and it's designed by Pininfarina. So I shouted out; "YES!". Now again let's talk about chances and statistical anomalies. Chances are that 70% of you know who Pininfarina is, yet statistically 83% has heard of the name Pininfarina at the very least.
