Enermax Revolution 85+ 1020W PSU review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/05/2010 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We review and test the Enermax Revolution 85+ 1020W PSU. A near perfect power supply, Enermax recently released the Revolution 85+ series, this BEAST as I like to call it has everything I just mentioned. Modular cables, it's silent, sturdy, rugged and at 220 Volts this puppy can achieve a power efficiency of 87 to 91 percent, and that is just very noteworthy.

Enermax Revolution 85+ 850W review

It certainly has been a while since we reviewed Enermax products, if memory serves me right the last Enermax PSU that we had in queue was the Galaxy Kilowatt DXX power supply. At the time (and still) considered a top notch product. We where exhilarated by it and I know for sure that our review cascaded an effect -- as a lot of our forum visitors actually purchased that Galaxy series of power supplies, which they still use and are happy with. Times change and there is always room for improvement, Enermax started rolling our the Revolution series of power supplies. A highly stylish, highly efficient and modular power supply that is quiet as well.

Palit Revolution 700 Deluxe 4870 X2 review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/23/2008 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Palit Revolution 700 Deluxe test - Meet Palit's Revolution 700 Deluxe. It's an (R700) Radeon HD 4870 X2 with 2048MB memory based graphics card that comes with custom cooling, slightly higher memory clock and some serious connectivity on the form of VGA, DVI, HDMI and even Display port. That's right all the aforementioned connectors are physically present on this graphics card. The end result is the weirdest thing you've ever looked at really, I mean .. this thing is huge, it's literally the size of a brick as it's familiar sized at 27 CM in length and 3 PCI slots (6 CM) wide.
