GeForce 9800 GT vs GeForce 660 GTX review

We place the GeForce 9800 GT vs GeForce 660 GTX in a quick four page article slash review. Demographics show that a lot of end-users who purchased their PC a couple of years ago very likely still have that GeForce 9800 GT. NVIDIA's demographics show that the people that are still using that card (and apparently it is a lot of them) are bound to upgrade, and the most logical step is the GeForce TX 660. So why not have a quick peek at how these two cards performs -- the old versus the new.

GeForce GTX 650 MSI Power edition review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/14/2012 09:18 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]
We review the MSI GeForce GTX 650 Power edition. With a cooler that is an enigma, and a new GPU called GK107 this product is battling with the Radeon HD 7750. But will it be enough to make a difference ?
Being based on the Kepler GPU architecture yet an entry level product obviously NVIDIA had to make a separate chip, making the GK107 silicon and affordable offering, So please understand that this is again a new silicon "GF107" opposed to the GK106 being used on the 660 model and the GK104 being used on the 660 Ti, 670 and 680.
The GK107 silicon is locked and loaded with 384 shader cores running at 1058MHz on the reference products, the GeForce GTX 650 packs a little punch, consumes very little power: just 64 watts. Btw the product has a fixed 3D clock, so there is no boost functionality or anything. It overclocks really well as you'll find out.
