Creative Labs Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speakers

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/28/2005 07:00 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]

So 7.1 surround sound, do we really need to invest in it ? Ehm, no ... But I can tell you it does make a very nice difference over the traditional 5.1 setup for sure. I'll explain all that on this multi purpose speaker set later on when I will talk a little about my game/movie/music experiences in combination with the GigaWorks S750's.

In December something big was released by Creative labs. And the fun thing is .. almost all of you missed it didn't you? Really silently Creative Labs pushed forward a new soundcard under the label Audigy 4 You'd expect a big marketing campaign with bells and whistles and preferably gorgeous blonde women jumping up and down with the soundcard ... but that did not happen.

The 31 grams weighing one AAA battery powered MUVO ladies and gentlemen is next to being a storage device also a voice recorder and hey ... you know what ? It can also playback music in MP3 and WMA format. It's equipped with fast USB 2.0 port, has a nice little LCD which you can use to select music and for example change the 5 band graphical equalizer.

So you read our Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers review , soon we'll do the new I-Trigue set yet what does the Gigaworks S750 7.1 bring us, well a heck lot more power … 700 Watts to be precise. Creative Labs Gigaworks is the high-end series of their speaker line-up. If you are a true sound guru and are willing to spend the cash on it then look no further. In this review we are going to give you a small overview on what these speakers are about, and hey .. they are even better than Logitech's 680 THX series !

Creative Labs Radeon 9600 256 MB

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/15/2003 02:23 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Today's product review will be about Creative's Radeon 9600 with 256 MB memory ... that's right 256 MB ! An ongoing trend lately is that we see more, much more memory utilized on graphics cards. Especially the high-end segment seems to need that extra chunk of memory to be as efficient as the card needs to be.

Creative Labs 3D Blaster 5 FX5900 Review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/28/2003 03:57 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Today's review ladies and gentlemen is based on the GeForce FX 5900, not the Ultra model, just the 5900. Basically this is the entry model in the high-end graphics card series. That means a better price but still awesome performance.

A few weeks ago we posted a review on Creative labs Europe's 3D Blaster 5 FX 5900 Ultra. To celebrate the release of that card, Creative Labs Europe will give a small selection of sites (five I believe) the oppertunity to give away a leather jacket to commemorate the launch of the product.

Creative Labs I-Trigue 3300 Speakers

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/21/2003 08:00 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]

It's not our habit to review speaker set's too often. But Creative Labs recently released the I-Trigue 3300 and well .. I was at the least intrigued by this speaker-set. It's not a mumbo jumbo 5.1, or 6.1 channel speaker set or extremely powerful loudspeaker set. No it's a small, high-end yet very stylish looking 2.1 speaker set which consists out of a nice sub-woofer and two very cute looking satellite speakers that our made out of stylish titanium. Each satellite is finished in a decent, die-cast alloy body that houses three high-precision titanium drivers, which should deliver you clarity and more accurate audio delivery than aluminum drivers.
