Smooth Creations Firestorm review

Posted by: Brann Mitchell on: 04/07/2010 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Smooth Creation's Firestorm takes the LAN party computer to its lightest and most diminutive form. The Firestorm we got ended up being prone to overheating, so the i7 965 config we had was not ideal for this small of a case. However, offering several flexible configurations from AMD or Intel, the Firestorm is a very affordable machine utilizing top components, top speed, and built to SmoothCreation's unusually high standards.

Listen up buttercup, King Neptune just mopped the floor. What I thought was going to be a custom case review turned out to a full-on bad-ass PC system to review. OK, I'm game. While it might not be the ultimate to the hardcore, SmoothCreations built an awesome machine, worthy of praise and attention.

Smooth Creations Customized Volkswagen Bus PC review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/09/2008 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Today something unique, a Smooth Creations Customized Volkswagen Bus PC test. You can purchase pre-build customized PCs, or of you have won the lottery, pick out your own PC and have it custom tailored. The sky is the limit here, you pick you components from low-end to high end, regular cooling, water-cooling, single GPU or 3-way SLI/CrossfireX you name it and they make it. Ours was a Crossfire model, airbrushed in a pretty unique design.
