Compro IP70 review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/18/2011 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Security is a hot topic on many levels these days. We want eyes and ears everywhere. So whether you need your building secured, your office monitored for theft or need some camera protecting at home with in the far end of the scope ... monitor your baby remotely to see if the person taking care of him/her is doing the job adequately, there are solutions out there. One of the company's jumping onto that trend is Compro, in the past their focus was TV/Media capture products yet as the market shifted, so did their product offering. They are trying to get a foothold in the security camera industry, however for a part target consumers. Recently they release a the IP70, it's a security camera that really looks like a big webcam. The difference is that this is a Megapixel camera that offers much better quality then what you are use to. It's also an IP camera, meaning that you simply hook it into your network, lookup the IP of the camera access it and voilla, you'll have a fully functional camera in your browser.

Compro VideMate TV Gold+ review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/02/2003 08:00 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Today's product review will be from Compro and is called the VideMate Cinema TV Gold+, a product that you can insert into your PCI bus while you can upgrade that graphics card of years as often as you wish. The VideoMate TV Gold+ is not just a TV card though, no is handles Stereo TV and Radio, acts as programmable video recorder, records media files through an external source and hey .. it'll will even boot up your PC when you program the software to record a TV show. An absolutely fantastic device.

Compro GeForce 4 Ti 4200 OC

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/08/2003 06:00 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]

The product is called Poladyne GeForce 4 Ti 4200. This particular model has an exquisite black PCB which I believe is 6 layer, 128 MB BGA DDR Memory from Samung which rates 3.3 NS (should be very overclockable), is covered with a nice yet silent cooling solution from Sunon and is equipped with ramsinks. Furthermore, the poladyne has been equipped with TV in and outputs.
