well, does not worth it as low end, like as 650ti, only 1 gpu is enough for everyday usage, 2 7790s / 2 650ti cannot beat 1 7970 / 1 680, but 2 7850s / 2 gtx 660 can beat 1 7970 / 1 680, so for gaming the minimum is 2 7850s or 2 gtx660s from nvidia, i cannot believe there are people who would buy 7790 cf / 650ti sli.. it's a fail

lol... you are missinformed man, there is no such thing like 650Ti SLI, 650Ti has no SLI capabilities

People buy 2 lower end GPUs to get better performance in their games at a lesser cost than buying a single HD 7970 or GTX 680. For them it's usually about the $$$ spent not whether or not it's the most powerful GPU on the market.

On topic - the HD 7790 looks like a good option for the entry level gamer, although at $150 that's pretty close (~$25 or so) to an HD 7850's sale price. I'm sure we'll see some deals or rebates that lower that price abit in the near future.

You want to go ahead and buy me a high end card then be my guest, there are some people on tight budgets, which the 7790 is perfect for. You can buy one, then later down the line if the single one can't keep up to demand anymore them you can buy another for cheaper than buying a whole new series gpu.

I would probably just spring the extra for a 7850 to be honest, although they're solid cards if you can get one for cheap enough.

Crossfire has way too many problems with latencies and unrendered frames.

Hilbert, shouldn't the OC Section Page have the overclocked results for both cards in CF instead of a single OC'ed GPU result since it's a CF article?

Also as to what others are saying about the card, as seen by the benchmarks the cards provide GTX 670 performance level for significantly less money.

It's a win for many users.. But then again.. The 7850 screams much more value for a bit more..

oh well i didnt know nvidia dropped down support for sli on low end gpus, anyway the point is guys, weak card IS WEAK whatever you do, i know it for sure when crossfire doesn't work for my setup properly or entirely...the best solution is one strong gpu and oc'ing it...later next year you buy a second and you are a master...buying 2 mid-range or low-end cards and mixing their performance is a risk, that you will always have moments of disgrace and disappointment, i can't see there is something positive about it for me.
