No I'm afraid not, GCN architecture only, so these optimizations effect series 7000 only.

Warfighter? Far Cry 3? Hitman? Sleeping Dogs?

Damn they're going all out. I might pick up another 7970.

Yeah most likely these are the drivers that were suppose to release a few months back to improve the 7k series just like last year with the 6k series getting a boost, but what I'm surprised is how much they can squeeze out of them and just in time for the holidays.

I would have been shocked if they made any improvements to the 6000 series. I'd settle for a completely stable driver at this point.

Can this be real? I just looked at the calendar and it's definitely not April 1st.

I'm looking forward to read the 12.11 discussion. I'll consider going AMD if it turns out they've really improved the drivers; fixed bugs and all that.

Front my point of view the hd6000 series didn't suffer from performance issues, only the new hd7000 series cause of the new architecture.

Very impressive hope nVidia does something similar would love an extra 10% of performance out of my 670. This makes the 7xxx cards very attractive.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Now's the time to reserve your seat in the lifeboat.
All of these games will cost next to nothing in a few months.
Will you also be shopping for a videocard you can trust when these games go in the sales bin?
