Radeon HD 7950 Overclock guide

Introduction - Radeon HD 7950 Overclocking Guide

We just reviewed the Radeon HD 7950 with two retail models alongside a crossfire review.  There's still one bit missing though, tweaking performance.

Overclocking never comes without risk, but it sure as heck is interesting to see how far you can take a card.

As such today an article dedicated on overclocking the Radeon HD 7950. We'll overclock 'normal' without extreme voltage tweaks. And then we'll also inject some extra juice into the GPU with voltage tweaking.

So that way we will demonstrate not one, but two maximum overclock conditions.

You will notice that if you go for long lifespan a long-lived card that overclocking the old fashioned way will not disappoint. A good GHz on the GPU (default = 800 MHz) is certainly something you can achieve. However voltage tweaking will bring you towards another level alright, roughly 1150 MHz ...

Hey once again we'll demonstrate it all. The Radeon HD 7000 series have proven one thing, they are grand overclockers.

Next page please.
