TweetOCZ Mk II 750W

So then, here we have the packaging so you know what to look for in the stores. The PSU inside is packaged nicely and protected in a cloth and Styrofoam .

 OCZ Mk II 750W

The PSU is delivered with some simple basics like power cable manual and screws. As stated, this is a modular model. The PSU is nicely packaged inside a pouch.

After unpacking, not a dent, scratch or smudge was on the unit. A white and black finish, nice theme. The PSU is ready for nearly all upcoming CPU & GPU generations and offers a superb capacity 12V rails. There is one single 12V rail allowing 62.4 Amp / 749 Watt.

OCZ Mk II 750W

The PSU complies to EPS12V PSU design guides for compatibility. It has Over Voltage Protection on +3.3V, +5V, +12V rails with over Current Protection at +3.3V, +5V, +12V as well.

OCZ Mk II 750W

At the front side we spot the traditional honeycomb air vent; it allows for airflow running through the PSU, cooling down its components and keeping them nicely efficient. Also, obviously we spot the power connector and on/off switch.

PC Power & Cooling MK III Silencer 1200 review
We review the PC Power and Cooling MK III Silencer 1200 Watt review from OCZ technology. The new Silencer Mk III series are all about being quiet, being awesome and very efficient and again, the PSU as tested today carries a Platinum certification. The new PSU also improved on the audibility front as it comes with a switch, enabled it and up-to 600 Watt (!) the fan will remain disabled and at that load your PSU merely lukewarm. The 1200W PSU is massive in performance, the one massive 99.5A 12-volts says it all really. Excellent for multi-GPU solutions and hardcore overclockers. The PSU is engineered with merely premium components, including Japanese 105°C capacitors and heavy-duty protection circuitries.

PC Power and Cooling Silencer MkII 750W PSU review
The new model PC Power & Cooling power supply is their Silencer Mk II series of PSU's. It's the 'bloke' PSU series again with a simple design, and hey -- nothing is modular so the PSU certainly is a squid inside your system with all the tentacles (wires), but yeah .. lots of you don't really care about cable management, they just want the best of the best and sure ...as you'll learn you can't really complain about the essence that is the Mk II Silence 750W power supply.
