HD Tach
HD Tach is a physical performance hard drive test that uses a special kernel mode VXD to get maximum accuracy by bypassing the file system.
We loose in read performance, much like we have seen in HDTune, but there are improvements with the new firmware in overall write performance where it becomes the fastest writing SSD on the globe.
