But next to the ESWC is the GeForce LAN event, anyone can participate in the GeForce LAN Tournaments featuring some of the hottest PC Games on tournament PCs provided by several sponsors. Not entirely full just yet. But definitely a success early in the morning already.

Here we have the all female members of clan PMS, who are pretty heavily funded and sponsored by hardware vendors starting up a contest.

Tournament cash prizing is scaled based on the number of teams or players competing in that respective tournament. For example, if there are 20 teams signed up for Call of Duty 4, the first place team will receive $1000 and a next generation graphics card for each player, for a total first place prize package of $5000 plus hardware. If 30 teams sign up, then the prize pool will increase to $1200 and graphics card per player for the first place prize, for a total first place prize package of $6000 plus hardware. Please see below for the prize scaling breakdown for each tournament.

Girl gamers equals a large male audience.

Here we can see that happen. they where playing little games with the audience and then threw hardware like headsets into the audience.
We have one more item from NVISION to show you guys. Though not 100% related to NVISION I figured this would be fun to show you. In San Jose there was a concert given. Now typically we gamers are not your average classical concert attendees, but the guys from video Games Live setup their gear in the San Jose concert hall and we figured it would be a nice opportunity to attend it and at thee very least show you some photo's on what is actually happening as such a concert.
