Now we mentioned the removable drive cages already. This chassis definitely offers a wide varyity for you to configure really.
Three modular HDD cages are provided. Two of these cages are designed for three HDD and a third holds up to two. In the interests of allowing as much personalization as possible, the hard disk drive cages can be removed and combine. This way it is possible to accommodate two, three, five, six, or eight data storage drives in the Deep Silence 1. Alternatively, you can put the hard drive cages for two or three drives towards the power supply. Please note that this case no longer permits fan assembly on the bottom; the maximum depth of the power supply is about 200 mm.
Above you can see the 5.25" optical bay, again a very simple mechanism. Once the DVD-ROM or whatever unit is inserted you clock them secure, no tools are required. You can install up-to three 5.25" devices in the chassis.
And we are looking at the bottom here, we see that the chassis rests on rubber mounts with that Hi-Fi looks and feel to it, the rubber prevents resonating noises coming from the PC, and thus makes your chassis more silent. Also you can see the removable dust filter located at the bottom really well.
And there you have it, the Deep Silence 1.Overall a nice design with great features and near hidden options. It offers everything you may expect from a modern age chassis and positions itself smackdown in the middle of mainstream to enthusiast chassis. You have great space to work with.
Elegant, simple and definitely feature rich for a mid-tower chassis. Let's head into the conclusion. The chimney feature just is cool isn't it?
