So the MSI R9 270X Gaming is a 2GB version with that popular TwinFrozr IV cooler. It has two  6-pin PCI-E PEG power connectors. Included with all cards will be a manual and a demo and driver CD, power converters and monitor connector converters.

The 270X is armed with 2GB to to get you a little more leash with resolutions and image quality settings. As such the card has been designed to be a nice match for gaming, up-to 1920x1200 or FullHD. We see a nice dark/yellow looking card from MSI. The close to 3 billion-transistor 28nm Pitcairn based core is tied to a nice 2GB memory -- which is plenty enough for mid-range products. As stated, all the regulars are included, including handy to use connectors for digital multi-meter voltage monitoring.

The reference Radeon R9-270X cards are clocked at a 1050 MHz core frequency and the GDDR5 memory runs at 5.6 Gbps (effective data rate as GDDR5 has a quad data-rate, so effectively that quadruples that number), the memory bus is 256-bit.

The MSI R9-270X Gaming cards are however clocked faster at 1120 MHz (Boost). The memory clock remains reference though. The card is 26cm long.

Connectivity wise the output connectors will actually vary per brand -- the board will get two DVI connectors, then a HDMI and one full size DisplayPort connector.
