MSI N275GTX Lightning

Product: N275GTX Lightning edition
Manufacturer: MSI
Information: website
Street price: 299 EUR

The fine ladies and gentlemen from MSI recently are on a very intense quest to make some of their products really stand out of the competition. Recently we reviewed the N265GTX Lightning, which was a testimony of the sheer creativity the MSI team has, placing an enthusiast SKU on the market. Unfortunately that product arrived on the market a little late as the GeForce GTX 275 literally stole it's thunder.

As such MSI decided to move forward with exactly the card that stole that thunder, the GeForce GTX 275. A very affordable high-end graphics card with the raw shader performance of a GTX 285 and the memory configuration of the GTX 260 -- yeah you could say that it is a hybrid card alright.

So in its basis, the GTX 275 already is a really marvelous graphics card but that didn't steer MSI away to make something really extra ordinary our of it. Check out some of the N275GTX Lightning features: Custom design PCB, high-quality chokes and capacitors, Twin Frozr II cooling solution, voltage monitoring points, 10 power phase design, doubled up memory at 1792MB , and yes .. even more.

The end result is a stunning GeForce GTX 275 with pretty extraordinary features that is silent, yet still overclockable. That definitely qualifies as Guru3D review material. Check out the card below after which we'll dive straight into an in-depth review.
