Lepa G1600 PSU review - Product Showcase

Checky-da-check-check 1600W, what a great thing to look at. The design is fairly compact and would fit any modern PC. As you can see, the G1600 is 100% modular.

Lots and lots of connections. Even the ATX power header can be detached. The benefit of a modular cable design obviously allows you to use only the cables that you really need keeping things tidy and clean inside that PC.

And yeah as you can see, a fairly normal length product really with its 18 cm - its complete dimensions are 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 180mm(L).

At the front and top side we spot plenty air vents with a honey-comb mesh; it allows for optimal airflow running through the PSU, cooling down its components and keeping them nicely efficient. Also, obviously we spot the power connector and the on/off switch at the front side. The PSU measures 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) X 6.3"(L); 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 160mm(L) in size and has a rates MTBF of 100,000 hours. The opposing side has a honey-comb mesh for ventilation.

At the top you'll stumble into a fan -- not silent but silent enough for this enthusiast grade hardware, it is 135mm. A 135mm ball bearing fan with thermal programmed speed controller thus delivers cool operation.

And check that out, that's 133A on the 12V rails alone -- nice. In theory this PSU could hold four GeForce GTX 680 cards or Radeon HD 7970 card. I don't see how we could EVER stress this PSU enough. The AX Series conforms to ATX12V v2.3 and EPS 2.92 standards, and is backward compatible with the ATX12V 2.2 and ATX12V 2.01 standards. It accepts universal AC input from 90V - 264V. Safety approvals include cTUVus, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TÜV, CCC, and C-tick.

We review and test the Lepa G1600 PSU. The 1600 Watt Power Supply is daunting in its numbers, the one has six 12 volts rails with an 133A rating. Crazy crazy stuff.
