Price: 360 EUR

Aah, bonsoir fellow gurus. Another week and another review. Last week we brought to you the Series HD 2000 preview from AMD's ATI new product range. This week we'll do a stand-alone review on a Radeon HD 2900 XT from none other then Jetway. Next to that ... in this article we'll be testing Crossfire as well!

First thing's first, Jetway; now, Jetway has been around in the graphics and mainboard industry for a long time, folks. You probably have heard the name a couple of times. Usually they do a lot of SKU ands OEM manufacturing for other partners; yes, as a lot of the products you buy are re-badged and could be made by Jetway.

Slowly they are now moving onward to the retail channel, and guys ... Why not? Seriously, Jetway is responsible for some serious high-quality hardware. Today we'll have a look at the Radeon HD 2900 XT, and in the upcoming weeks we'll also have a peek at some of the mainboard that they produce.

Get this: while Jetway is not one of the more known companies, they have however been around since 1986; founded in Taiwan. Anyways, let's have a peek.

So what we're doing today is simple, we'll quickly sift through some HD 2000 technology, review the Jetway HD 2900 XT and have a look at the Crossfire performance.

They recently released Radeon HD 2900 XT, as we'll show is a really fine piece of hardware. Performance-wise it sits among the GeForce 8800 GTS cards. The more interesting thing is that it'll be a high-end product at a very interesting price-level; 399 USD. Since that is a manufacturer suggested retail price you can expect prices of 350 EUR soon. The Jetway HD X2900 XT boards is HDMI/HDCP ready, has Avivo HD and as bundle will shipped with three full free games: Half-life2: Episode 2; Team Fortress 2 and Portal. These games are included as a coupon (code) and you must download it yourself through Valve's steam. But yeah ... Great stuff.

Well, let's not get ahead of things; we have a review to show you. Next page please!

Nice and Mysterious .. the way Crossfire HD 2900 XT really is
