Intel 335 SSD review -
SSD Performance SiSoft Sandra HDD - Anvil's Storage Utilities
SiSoft Sandra HD test
Let's do a synthetic test with Sandra, just to see if we can match the results we've seen in HD Tach. The drive index test is what I refer to. Higher = Better.
You guys will agree with me that even a Western Digital Velociraptor is a fast HDD at 87 MB/sec. Here the Pyro SE did 313 MB/sec, we had hoped for slightly better results here though.
Anvil's Storage Utilities
Anvil's Storage Utilities is a powerful tool that was designed in order to provide you with a simple means to evaluate the read and write performance of your Solid State Drive or Hard Disk Drive.
The benchmark tool helps you monitor and check the response time of your unit as well as view the system information collected using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).
You can download this software here and try it out for yourself.
Above Intel 335 240GB SSE
Above Corsair Neutron
Above Corsair Neutron GTX
New in our benchmark suite is Anvil's Storage Utilities, this tool is work in progress and could be one of the best SSD stress tools in the works.
For now we'll included the overall test results, and once this software finalizes we'll do more with it. Again you can see great SEQ Read performance, excellent 4K performance but again sequential writes are a little stale.
Above the Vertex 4 with FW 1.5 which you can use for comparison.
We review the Intel series 335 SSD with test and benchmarks. Intel has developed this product under codename Jaycrest and is the first SSD series that moves into 20nm Nand Flash memory production. We have lots to talk about alright.
