4. How much money did you spend on the rig as it is right now?
This is a hard one. I haven’t really kept a record, I’m not sure I even want to know. A good guess would be around 2000-3000€, but some of the parts are getting old and as we all know computer parts depreciate fast, so building an identical computer now would probably be a lot less. Still in the end I am very happy spending money on things I love doing.
5. How often do you update/buy a new rig?
The previous computer I built was back in 2008. It was a Q6600 paired with two Nvidia 8800GT. In September 2011 I upgraded to a 2500K paired with some G.Skill ram on an Asus P8Z68. In August this year i upgraded to a 3570K and an Asus Maximus Gene-V. It seems like I am more into modding/building than using the computer. I used to work on cars a lot but working on computers are more fun and less expensive. So how often i will upgrade in the future is hard to say but i'm guessing every year more or less.

The Guru3D Rig of the Month April 2013 is something that will shock and awe you. Perhaps you can remember Alain-S, he actually submitted a rig back in the summer of 2011, an all white chassis. Two years later he has finished another build, and it is just spectacular, he even has a little nickname for it Grafit!
Guru3D Rig of the Month - March 2013
The Guru3D Rig of the Month March 2013 - Though I'm sure many will love it it remains to be one of these hate/love builds. We think it's impressive alright and the craftsmanship is just excellent. meet Conrad Yeo Kai Kee, at the age of 33 he build this creature and named it Project Rampage. This actually is his first first ever attempt in modding and also water cooling of rigs. Lots of time is spent in reading and sourcing out items needed for the build. Have a look and be amazed.
Guru3D Rig of the Month - February 2013
The Guru3D Rig of the Month February 2013 - Exactly a year ago to date a guy named Mathieu Heredia AKA Sassanou won the rig of the Month 2012, with an awesome build. This year he is back in the running with something completely new, dark, carbon, Japanese Kenji.
Guru3D Rig of the Month - January 2013
A new year a new competition. This months Guru3D Rig of the month, January 2013, build comes from Kellen George, aka Kaged, though the chassis he used is a matter of taste, the overall build is just extremely impressive, welcome to the color red.
