So its time to have a closer look at the retail products. First off, above packaging so you know what to look for in the stores.

Above you can spot the Gigabyte Radeon HD 6870. The cooler is 100% reference, is heatpipe based and overall very silent, but we'll show you that in out tests of course. Bundled are the basics like drivers, card, CrossfireX connector and two Molex to 6-pin PCIe PEG connector converter cables.

The card is reference, and comes with two DisplayPort 1.2 connectors, one HDMI 1.4a connector and two DVI connectors of which one is single and the other dual-link. If you have a very high resolution monitor at 2560x1600 and connect your card to the single link connector, your resolution could be limited to ~1280x1024 or something close. Use the dual-link connector, and you'll have the full 2560x1600 resolution available. This of course only applies to the two DVI connectors.
In this review we test and benchmark the Gigabyte.G1 Sniper 5 motherboard. This Z87 gaming themed mainboard is seated in the high-end range of Gigabyte's multiple Z87 motherboards releases. Pop on an Intel 22nm Haswell processor and you will notice that the G1.Sniper 5 is extremely feature rich and has great overclock potential. Oh and of course you'lll spot the black/green color schema again.Have a look at this 19 page this review.
