Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti SOC review -
Alright, let's have a peek at the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti SOC model, here you can see the card we tested. A 822 MHz is the default reference clock frequency used on the core, this cards clocks in at 1000 MHz. Based on a 2:1 ratio the shader processor are clocked double of that, 2000 MHz.
The 1GB 256-bit gDDR5 memory is clocked at an effective data-rate of 4580 MHz. The design is stylish alright, we like that. Blue PCB, which is 11-inches in length. This card will eat up two PCI slots. Sitting on top of it is the WindForce2 cooler which has two 90mm fans blowing air over a heatpipe based cooler (4 pipes).
Two 6-pin PEG power connectors are required for this board. Power consumption is rated at a 170W TDP for the reference design 1024MB model, the TDP as we measure it is in fact a fraction higher due to the factory overclock. The power-connectors are seated at the top side, which we prefer.
As you can see, the card is equipped with three connectors due to space limitations, two dual-link DVI connectors and a mini Display Port connector. The cooler exhausts hot air through the upper mesh. Gigabyte will include a mini to full DP converter cable.
We have one more reference review for you, this is the Gigabyte Radeon R9-290X. As stated it is a reference design of the original Radeon R9-290X. These cards are little beasts. As such this in-depth ...
