Fractal Design Node 304 review -
Right then, let's start off with the review. As always we begin with packaging. It's a simple yet informative thing to show as when you purchase a chassis, honestly you do not want any defects and scratches on it. The Node 304 is packaged in cardboard.
Once you take the unit out of the cardboard box you'll notice two layers of foam protecting the unit, which on its end is covered in a plastic bag. Packaging was done decently, risk on damage is fairly minimal.
Included in the bundle is the standard gear like screws, standoffs and sip-ties, most nice and black by the way, we like that.
Once unpacked we see a little better what the chassis is all about. The chassis is made out of a steel structure with black aluminum faceplate/bezel. One disadvantage, there's no room for 5.25" devices.
We review the Fractal Design Node 605, an all black all cool and all silent HTPC chassis for even full ATX motherboards. For This HTPC chassis is all about style, storage, USB 3.0 options.
