EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified PSU review -
Product Showcase
As you can see the PSU is fully modular. Lot's and lots of connections. Even the ATX power header can be detached. You get a good 8 rails for VGA alone. Crazy. A PSU this powerful has many protections, including OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), and OTP (Over Temperature Protection).
A lengthy product though as it is 20cm - it's complete dimensions are 150mm x 86mm x 200mm. Check out the individually sleeved cables... sexy ;)
At the top you'll stumble into a big yet reasonably silent enough 120 mm. A quality fan (Sanyo Denki Ball Bearing).
And check that out, that's eight x 20 Amp 12 volts rails. And it's configurable, you can make one huge 12V rails alone. Nice! In theory this PSU could hold eight (!) GeForce GTX 680 cards or Radeon HD 7970 cards. You will actually receive sixteen 6+2 PCIe Graphics (PEG) connectors.
We review the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750 PSU. The power supply is rated at 750 Watt continued output and has some nice features.
