Cougar Challenger review -
So again, at the bottom side we can see the mounting area for the PSU, underneath it a ventilation mesh, which has dust protection with the help of a filter (magnetic). Let's flip the chassis like a turtle on its back:
That dust filter can be easily removed as it sticks there as with little magnets. Quite clever actually. Take it out and it can be cleaned. The chassis rests on four rubber feet, again preventing resonating noises.
Mounting a HDD is easy enough. Take a drive bay bracket (which has silicon inserts to prevent resonating noises from the HDD), pop the HDD into the bracket (no tools needed)) and slide the unit into the drive bay until you hear a click.
In this review we have a peek at the Cougar Challenger, a mid-tower chassis that is loaded with options, and hey .. it's priced quite competitive as well. It's different alright. The CHALLENGER mid-tower case is particularly targeting gamers demanding for huge upgradeability capacity, best airflow and optimized ventilation characteristics.
