Meet the CoolIT A.L.C. VANTAGE

What we'll do is swiftly work through the components in the kit with the help of an extensive photo-shoot. We'll continue the photo shoot with a guide on how to install the components (CPU versus Liquid Cooling) into a PC up to the point where we have finalized and finished everything.

It's 2010 and you've been reading Guru3D.com for a while now, right ? Then you must know that I originally was not a huge fan of using water inside a PC. It was scary considering you have conductive fluid inside an electrical system, but I've seen the light and have since converted into a believer. Praise the water.

All the primary systems in my office are equipped with a water-cooling solution. I kid you not, even most of our test systems. Why you ask? Oh, just the noise level and the extraordinary cooling effect it has on components.

The A.L.C. VANTAGE CPU cooler is CoolITÂ’s attempt to introduce a good performance water cooler to the masses for as little money as possible yet with some extra. A.L.C. is short for ; "Advanced Liquid Cooling" and the Vantage edition comes with a small configurable LCD screen. Configurable as in you can select several performance modes, readout of CPU block temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit, fan and pump RPM but you can also control the backlight color of that little LCD screen, so you can match the color of that screen to the theme you have going on inside that PC of yours. Extremely classy, but we'll show you that later on.

Operations Modes (User Selectable)
Three cooling performance modes quiet, performance, and full.

CoolIT 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty

The LCD screen enables user-selectable control profiles with a display capable of 6 colors and 4 orientation settings. The Vantage A.L.C. provides good performance, reliability and a great feature set.

As you already guessed by now, this is a complete kit, that doesn't mean a lot of components though. It's a self-contained standalone unit that is easily placed inside your PC. Water-cooling, that means this kit has a 120mm fan, radiator, pump, cooling block, tubing and reservoir. All pre-fitted, and even pre-filled with coolant.

Have a peek, after which we'll dive into a product gallery photo-shoot.

CoolIT ALC ECO review
A short while ago CoolIT introduced their ALC ECO. The ALC series are single self contained water-cooling based unit, that are very easy to install. They looks nice and performs adequately as well. It almost sounds too good to be true at 75 USD right ? Well, CoolIT certainly will make an impression with the ECO as this article will show you.
