Cooler Master Silencio 650 review -
Product Showcase - Exterior

When we move a little backwards there is another latch / sliding cover to be found ...

Once you slide it inwards you'll open up the chassis, should you need a little more cooling performance. On the inside a 120 or 140mm fan can be mounted. So if you run into airflow issues, that's your plan B.

The front bezel has an aluminum door that can be opened, it closes with the help of a little magnet. It is very sturdy and behind it we immediately run into noise dampening foam. This keeps away the noise originating from the louder components and the HDD cages. We'll find this insulation being used throughout the chassis.

If we zoom in a little we spot a 3.5" HDD hotswap X-dock. Here you can slide in your HDD, at the backside all you need to do is connect some wiring towards the SATA port on your motherboard and one power lead. Incredibly handy.
Once the door is open you'll have access towards three visible 5.25" devices of which one is that X-dock. The peripherals can be installed tool-free. You simply open the door, slide them in and secure them with an hinge. The Silencio includes two 1200 rpm silent fans at the front located just before the HDD cage.
