Computex 2008: Day 1 - the festivities begin

11 - Artic Cooling
Tweet

We actually already received the Xtreme cooler for the Radeon cards, but recently Arctic released one as well for the GeForce 9800 GTX. Be careful though .. it eats up three slots once installed. Huge and massive, yet great cooling for not a lot of money.

This was becoming pretty popular as well. We'll show it to you in the following Computex articles; but active RAM cooling. I'm not sure whether I find it functional or fiction, but for the enthusiast people .. I'd say this might become interesting.

Ah yes .. any hardware vendor needs to sell PSUs.  This is a prototype, loads of stuff still needs to be configured for the product series.

And though not rotated because tired old Hilbert forgot to do so in Photoshop ... the very funny Arctic Breeze, a product that will actually be sold. It's an USB actived fan, slash cooler, which right now is blowing air to me in this very warm room.  Thanks to Arctic for quickly handing one out to me (no I did not run off with one!).

Alright guys, the first 11 pages have been done. This is only 40% of what I spotted at day one. I hope to bring you another session before day 2 of computex starts, where we'll travel towards the older Halls located near that fantastic Taipei 101 building. One of the tallest buildings in the world.

Please give the guys from Point-of-View a visit on their website as they are making these Computex 2008 reports happen for us.
