Image Quality

So as stated, we start in the Holland level where we walk towards the windmill. First thing we need to do is verify that the image quality among ATI Radeon cards and NVIDIA GeForce graphics are the same so that we can objectively measure performance.

Now these cropped and resized images are always difficult to show you IQ (image quality) differences. Yet the IQ between the two vendors is exceptionally close to each other. NVIDIA's shadows are slightly darker, but that's pretty much it.

In our test-level we run from the starting point towards the Dutch resistance, measure three times and calculate the average.

Just some screenshots to show you the level of detail of the game. And props to Gearbox, the environment looks very similar to WWII housing in the Netherlands.
