We review the MX-Technology MX-ES USB 3.0 SLC flash drive, a USB 3.0 stick equipped with SLC NAND Flash memory allowing it to boast speeds up-to  160MB/s for read and writes ! So this flash drive will get you  performance of roughly 160MB/sec peaks and that really is unheard of for a small handy flash storage drive.

We test the Corsair Neutron and Neutron GTX SSDs today. They are equipped with that LAMD controller. The GTX version is paired with Toggle NAND flash ICs from Toshiba whereas the 'regular' model' comes with 'normal' ONFI Sync NAND memory. Both SATA3 SSDs offer serious performance, with the GTX taking the lead.

Corsair Force GS 240GB SSD review

We review the Corsair Force GS 240GB SSD. Corsair introduces the Force GS series, and that are equipped with the 2281 series SandForce controller. Paired with SanDisk Toggle Toggle NAND flash ICs that will increase read and write performance to 555MB/s and 525 MB/s respectively which makes the Force GS the fastest SSDs they have ever brought to market. With 4K random write performance estimated at 90,000 IOPS (input/output operations per second) the product is definitely in the right performance bracket we like to see Corsair in. We review the ADATA SX900 256GB SSD. ADATA's SX900 series comes with the 2281 series SandForce controller. According to ADATA that will increase sequential read and write performance to 550MB/s which makes the SX900 the fastest SSDs they have ever produced. However, we stated it already, the market is fierce and competitive, the 2281 controllers have been widely adopted by many players.

It's time for another stick drive review here at Guru3D.com, well a USB 3.0 stick that is. The storage unit is all USB 2.0 and 3.0 compatible and it's called the S107 from ADATA's 'SUPERIOR' series of products. We test an easy to carry around 16GB version of this model. This flash drive will get you read performance of roughly 100MB/sec peaks while writing just under 25 MB/sec.

Patriot Pyro SE 240GB SSD review

Patriot wanted to release another SSD, something a little over the top and as such that meant releasing the Pyro SE SSD. While based on the SandForce 2281 controller Patriot did apply some tweaks to make the product even faster. To keep it up to snuff it comes with synchronous NAND flash memory. According to Patriot that will increase its sequential read and write performance to 550MB/s and 520MB/s.

Corsair made a wise decision as well, they will not stick to just one SSD based controller, and as such they just launched the Performance Pro series SSDs. In 128GB and 256GB capacities these drives will be unleashed just before the Christmas season is starting.

ADATA N005 Pro USB flash drive review

ADATA recently released a USB stick, all 3.0 compatible and it's called the N005 Pro from their Nobility series of products. We test the 64GB version of this model, and their N005 Pro is fast for USB flash storage alright, the littleĀ fracker can get you read performance of 180MB/sec peaks while writing just under 90 MB/sec.
