The Prologue
Its the dead of night and the streets are lit by moonlight and the fluorescent glow of neon lights from nearby buildings.  All that remain awake are beggars and prostitutes. A new order is stirring, awoken by the dark, hidden from mortals by their self-imposed Masquerade. This is the time of the Vampire, the Nosforatu, the Undead this is the world of Bloodline.

The Gameplay
Many myths have been perpetuated about the world and lives of the Vampire, through countless books and films. The second installment of the Vampire: The Masquerade series, entitled Bloodlines seeks to encapsulate these myths and lore of the Vampire world; with you a freshly sired Vamp trying to get your head around the new order that you've been presented with, working your way up the Vampiric hierarchy. Troika has built this game on its atmosphere. In-depth character development, both on your part as you nurture your vampire powers and on the part of characters within the game, immerse you into a world of unseen dangers, political conflict and (naturally) violence. This is an RPG, so before you can commence your journey through the underworld various decisions have to be made regarding your character. The first step is to choose your Clan. There are seven of these clans each with their own strengths and weaknesses that impact on the way you will play the game out. Some may rely on physical strength and combat, some on sneaking and stealth and others on their good looks and powers of persuasion. You can choose to be a male or female member of each Clan, which again, has an effect on the way NPCs interact with you.
