With the help of the supplied wrench we can secure the silver colored bolts. The wrench can be used in an 45 degree angle, screw the bolts tight and the cooler is mounted and almost ready for action.

Once seated you can now connect the fan power cable to either your motherboard or a fan controller.

The Cooler has two operating modes, performance and low noise. The sheer difference is a supplied Resistor (RC7P) which you place in-between the power source and the 9900 MAX fan header cable. The resistor lowers voltage and keeps fan RPM below 1500 RPM, which we really recommend.
