You know it’s Star Wars season around the world, with JJ Abrams’ helmed Episode VII right around the corner. If you haven’t heard of the Machete order, I suggest you read up on it. Basically, you watch the series as such: Episode IV, V, II, III, and VI. You skip Episode I entirely, it’s not a good movie, unless you think Jar Jar Binks is Supreme Leader Snoke. I think it’s just academic, really, so just skip Episode I and watch it separately.

Listening tests

It’s always Godfather season here at Guru3D. Turning our attention to the classic and excellent Godfather Part I, we find the CUBE mini sounds well with such an old movie. Every single scene offers clear dialog and proper bass when needed. Obviously the sound spectrum isn't as wide as modern age movies with explosions every 5 seconds. But the more silent sound space with dialog suits & serves the CUBE mini well.

The CUBE mini did not, and could not, disappoint here when you compare it with TV speakers. It cannot compete with proper 5.1 channel speakers and a sub of course. But the kit is definitely loud enough and sounds well.

Conan-thebarbells

Arneeeh! In this flick, sound clarity is pretty neutral really. Ehm... that said, I should not be testing this speaker set as if it was intended to watch movies. It's all about the tunes and perhaps a game or two eh? For movies we do recommend a true proper 5.1 kit with LFE-ready active sub. Let's quickly move onwards.
