FCAT 3840x2160 - Hitman Absolution

Hitman Absolution Frame Experience Analysis

6676_per

Above, the percentile chart of the 30 seconds gaming @ 3840x2160. Here we plot FPS and place it in relation to percentiles.

  • A single R7970 GHz 50% of the time measured frames is doing roughly 26 FPS.
  • A single GTX 780 50% of the time measured frames is doing roughly 28 FPS.
  • GTX 780 SLI 50% of the time measured frames is doing roughly 50 FPS.

Please let me remind you of the fact that this is measured at a monitor resolution of 3840x2160.

On this 30 second run the graphics card manages to remain below 15 to 20ms mostly, we cannot detect any noticeable anomalies like glitches and stutters for any of the cards.

Sure in SLI there a little more going on, but that is too little to make a visual difference. For those that do not understand what you are looking at, the above is a scene rendered, the first 30 seconds of the Hitman integrated benchmark. With this chart, lower = better. Huge spikes above 40-50ms can be considered a problem like a stutter or indicate a low framerate.

Again nice, the spikes are pretty much insignificant for your gaming experience.
