Here we have the unit all nekked so we can observe the heatpipe and fins a little better. Six heatpipes shaped into a U form are being used, each 6mm thick. The aluminum fins are spaced out a little further opposed to the design of the Ultra 120.

As stated, you'll need to purchase a fan or maybe even two with the cooler, we got the new FDB-12 1600 RPM series supplied with this kit though. A nice 120mm cooler that's not exorbitantly loud yet offers nice airflow performance.

Can you read WARNING in the upper photo? That's in fact a reflection of the sticker. A very flat, mirror finished surface as we see with most copper base plates these days. This is a copper base with nickel plating/coating.

Using the tiny holes on the sides of the cooler we can insert fan wire clips that easily hold the fan in place. You'll also receive little rubber anti-vibration strips to prevent the fans from making that resonating noise.

You can install two fans if you wanted to go for the push-pull configuration and optimize performance.
