Here are all the great fittings needed to mount the cooler onto the motherboard, we start off with the back plate.
Mounting the cooler is a fairly easy thing to do, though the motherboard needs to come out of the chassis. Now you insert a screw through one of the aligned holes. See the screws in the backplate? Shift them to position 1366, 1156 or 775 corresponding with your processor socket.
At the front side of the motherboard you need to place four somewhat thumbscrew like nuts and secure them.
Once you finish that up you can insert a mounting bracket which we've just secured, again with four nuts. We apply thermal paste and the cooler is ready to be seated and secured.
