Located at the backside we can see the ventilation hole, the unit is reasonably silent I must say, and it will power on/off depending on temperature. Lots of connection options including two USB 3.0 (two at the back two in the front) and one eSATA ports can be spotted. The unit sports two Gigabit Ethernet ports to support fail-over and dual-IP setups. Very interesting to see is that at the backside you will also spot a HDMI 1.4a and S/PDIF connector, not for any multimedia purposes, but your initial access requires you to connect a mouse, keyboard and monitor.

So connectivity wise you are covered. All the way to the lower left is the power on/off switch. At the lower left you can see two USB 3.0 connectors. Above it LED indicators, up-to is NOT an LCD display and the four what look like buttons, really aren't buttons. 

When we flip the unit around we can see that an extra ventilation mesh is present at the bottom. The unit rests on four rubberized feet to prevent any resonating noises and vibration coming from your HDDs.
